02Getting Here – Car, Public Transportation, on Foot
Our apartments are located in the heart of Zofingen’s historic old town and are surrounded by public, paid parking spaces. We do not have our own parking spaces available.
In the old town, you can park for free during the following times:
- Daily from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Saturdays from 4:00 PM
- Sundays and holidays all day
Outside these times, parking in the old town is limited to a maximum of 2 hours. Payment can be made conveniently via app or in cash at the parking meter. To avoid costly parking fines, please ensure you always register your vehicle correctly at the meter.
Hotel parking passes for parking in the Old Town from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM are available at the Hotel Engel reception for CHF 9.00.
If you wish to park your vehicle for more than one night or under cover, we recommend the parking garage near the train station. It is within walking distance of the apartments and offers unlimited parking. Exit tickets are available at the Hotel Engel reception desk at a discounted rate.
Our apartments are just 250 meters from the Zofingen train station and can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. The station is located on the route between Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, and Basel and is regularly served by regional and long-distance trains.
Follow the signs toward the Old Town or use Google Maps to navigate directly to Gerbergasse 1.
Our location is situated directly along attractive hiking and biking trails and is ideal as a stopover for anyone on the go—whether on foot or by bike.
Cyclists can conveniently park their bikes in the weather-protected bike rack at Hotel Engel. If you have any questions or need additional parking options, we’re happy to assist.
